Raw data in.
Decisions out.

We design and build dashboards, data products, and the pipelines underneath them — for teams that need every number traceable to its source. The same rigor we run in our own four live data products, brought to yours.

Services

Everything data, end to end.

Visualisation is the craft we're known for, but a dashboard is only as good as the data underneath it. So we take on the whole stack — from the pipes to the picture.

Dashboard & BI implementation

Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Metabase, or a fully custom web dashboard — built on your real data model, not a demo dataset.

Data visualisation & storytelling

Charts that survive the board meeting: the right form for each question, annotated so the takeaway lands without a presenter.

Data engineering & integration

Pipelines that move data from where it lives to where it's useful — warehouses, marts, scheduled refreshes, monitoring.

Data products & platforms

Databases and APIs as products: unified schemas, data dictionaries, versioned snapshots. We run four of them ourselves.

Analytics & decision intelligence

KPI frameworks, forecasting, anomaly detection. The step from “we have data” to “we know what to do on Monday.”

Embedded analytics & data APIs

Dashboards and query APIs inside your own product, in your branding. REST and MCP endpoints so AI agents can use your data too.

Data quality, governance & provenance

Per-field source links, quality scoring, access control, GDPR. Numbers that hold up when an auditor or a journalist asks.

Enablement, documentation & training

Data dictionaries, handover documentation, and training so your team owns the result — not a black box.

The flagship craft

Dashboards people actually use.

Most dashboards die two weeks after delivery: opened once, misunderstood, exported to spreadsheet, forgotten. Ours are designed for the Monday meeting — clear enough to read without a data person in the room.

  • Executive dashboards

One screen, the five numbers that matter, zero training required.

  • Operational & monitoring views

Live state of the business on a schedule you define — hourly, daily, weekly.

  • Report-grade exports

The same chart, print-quality in the PDF report your ministry or board expects.

  • Accessible by default

Colour-blind-safe palettes, WCAG contrast, keyboard-navigable dashboards.

  • English & German

Interfaces, documentation, and delivery in both languages.

Method

A method, not a mystery.

Five phases, each with named deliverables — so you always know what you’re paying for next, and procurement knows what it’s scoring.

1 · Audit & discovery

We inventory your sources, chase down the spreadsheet-of-truth rumours, and find out which numbers people already trust — and which they quietly ignore.

2 · KPI & data-model design

Together we define the handful of metrics that actually drive decisions, then model the data so every metric computes the same way twice.

3 · Build & validate

Pipelines and dashboards in short cycles. Every number is checked against the source system, with the people who own it, before it ships.

4 · Ship, train & document

Launch with training sessions and full documentation, so the next question is answered in the docs — not in a support ticket to us.

5 · Operate & iterate

Either we keep it fresh, monitored, and evolving as the questions change — or we hand over the keys entirely. Both are fine endings.

Proof, not promises

We don’t just consult on data — we run four of our own.

These are live, paid data products we built and operate. They share one standard, and it’s the one we bring to your project: every field links to its source.

TrialBase DB

Procurement & compliance

Built to pass procurement.

The paperwork is part of the product. What public-sector buyers need in order to score a vendor, we already have on file — and we’ve been on both sides of the table.

EU company, EU law

Daystrom OÜ, registered in Estonia (registry code 17537299, VAT EE102999776), based in Tallinn. Eligible for EU and EEA procurement.

GDPR by default

DPAs signed as standard, not on request. Data stays in systems you approve; access is scoped to what the work needs.

Documentation is a deliverable

Data dictionaries, metric definitions, and handover docs ship with every project — so results survive staff rotation.

Licensing clarity

Per-source licence documentation on all our data products. Clean, documented chains for anything you redistribute.

English & German

Delivery, interfaces, and documentation in both languages — across borders and inside authorities.

References on request

Public institutions and enterprises among past clients. A structured capability statement is available for tender submissions.

Engagement

Four ways to work with us.

1

Fixed-scope projects

A defined outcome, a defined price. Discovery to delivered dashboards, typically four to ten weeks.

2

Sprints

Two-week cycles, each with its own scope and something usable at the end. Stop after any sprint; everything built stays yours.

3

Retainers & support

Monitoring, refreshes, and iteration once things are live. Monthly, cancellable, no lock-in.

4

Framework & contracting

Pre-agreed terms for public-sector buyers: call-off orders, framework rates, and procurement-ready paperwork from day one.

FAQ

Questions about data work.

The data-specific ones, anyway. If yours isn’t here, the 30-minute call is the fastest way to a real answer — describe the data problem and we’ll tell you whether it’s worth solving.

Whatever fits the job, not whatever we happen to sell. Power BI, Tableau, Looker and Metabase for classic BI; custom web dashboards when off-the-shelf can't show what you need; Postgres, SQL Server, BigQuery and Snowflake underneath; Python and dbt for the pipelines. If you already have a stack, we build inside it.

Start

Tell us what your data needs to say.

Bring the messy spreadsheet, the warehouse nobody trusts, or the tender deadline. Thirty minutes is enough to know whether it’s worth doing.
